K/D (Kill/Death ratio) = total kills ÷ total deaths. A K/D of 1.0 means you get exactly one kill per death on average. Above 1.0, you kill more than you die; below 1.0, the opposite. It is the most quoted stat in shooters from Call of Duty to Valorant.
Context matters: a 1.5 K/D in casual matches is different from 1.5 in ranked.
Support players, objective holders, and entry fraggers often have lower K/Ds while winning more games. That is why this calculator also shows win rate — in team games, winning is the stat that actually ranks you up.
No — classic K/D counts only kills and deaths. Some games show KDA (kills + assists, divided by deaths); this calculator uses pure K/D, the standard for FPS games.
You probably play objectives, support, or entry roles that help the team win. That is a good thing — win rate ranks you up, K/D just looks nice.

Pro players typically hold 1.2–1.5 K/D in professional matches — against the hardest competition in the world. Anything above 1.0 in high-rank lobbies is strong.
