How the converter works

Every FPS game measures mouse movement differently. Valorant, CS2, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2 each use their own “yaw” value — the number of degrees your view turns per mouse count. Our converter translates your sensitivity through these true yaw values, so your muscle memory transfers 1:1 between games.

The formula is simple: new sensitivity = old sensitivity × (old game’s yaw ÷ new game’s yaw). For example, Valorant’s yaw is 0.07 and CS2’s is 0.022, so a 0.35 Valorant sens becomes 0.35 × (0.07 ÷ 0.022) = 1.11 in CS2.

What is eDPI?

eDPI (effective DPI) = sensitivity × mouse DPI. It is the only fair way to compare sensitivity between two players using different mice. Two players with the same eDPI have the same true sensitivity, even if one uses 400 DPI and the other uses 1600 DPI. Most pros play between 200 and 500 eDPI.

How to use it

  1. Select the game you are coming from and the game you are going to.
  2. Enter your current in-game sensitivity and your mouse DPI.
  3. Copy the converted sensitivity into your new game — your aim will feel identical.

Sensitivity Converter FAQs

Is this sensitivity converter accurate?

Yes. It uses each game’s verified yaw values (Valorant 0.07, CS2 0.022, Apex Legends 0.022, Overwatch 2 0.0066), the same method pro players and coaches use.

Does DPI affect the conversion?

No. Keep the same DPI in both games and only convert the in-game sensitivity number. DPI is used here only to calculate your eDPI.

What is a good eDPI for Valorant or CS2?

Most professional players use 200–500 eDPI. If yours is far outside that range, try moving toward it gradually.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. The converter is free forever with no signup and no limits.
