How to use it

  1. Choose a color and set size, thickness, and gap.
  2. Preview it live until it looks right.
  3. Copy the config line.
  4. In CS2, open the console with the ~ key, paste, and press Enter. (Enable the console under Settings → Game → Enable Developer Console.)

Classic pro settings

Most pros use something close to: size 2, thickness 1, gap -2, green, no dot, style 4 (static). Start there and adjust one value at a time over several days — constant switching ruins muscle memory.

Static vs dynamic

Style 4 (classic static) never moves — what the vast majority of pros use. Dynamic styles expand when you move or shoot, which some beginners like as feedback, but they add visual noise. We recommend static.

CS2 Crosshair Generator FAQs

How do I open the console in CS2?

Go to Settings → Game → set ‘Enable Developer Console’ to Yes. Then press the ~ (tilde) key in-game to open it.

Will the config save permanently?

Console commands apply until you restart unless added to your autoexec.cfg. For a permanent crosshair, add the line to autoexec.cfg in your CS2 cfg folder.

What is the best CS2 crosshair?

There is no universal best, but the most common pro setup is: small green static cross, size 1–3, gap -2 to -4, thickness 1. Comfort beats copying exactly.

Can I use this crosshair in CS:GO?

The same commands work in CS:GO, since CS2 kept the crosshair system.
